As businesses plunge into the digital future, no asset will have a greater impact on success than data. The ability to collect, harness, analyze, protect, and manage data will determine which businesses disrupt their industries, and which are disrupted; which businesses thrive, and which disappear. But traditional storage solutions are not designed to optimally handle such a critical business asset. Instead, businesses need to adopt an all-flash data center.
In their new role as strategic business enablers, IT leaders have the responsibility to ensure that their businesses are protected, by investing in flexible, future-proof flash storage solutions. The right flash solution can deliver on critical business needs for agility, rapid growth, speed-to-market, data protection, application performance, and cost-effectiveness—while minimizing the maintenance and administration burden.
Data is a driver of growth and change that is quickly becoming the world's most valuable resource. As such, finance leaders face increased pressure to value data as an asset on their balance sheets and use it to drive business strategy. To capitalize on the power of data, learn how to pinpoint where you are today. what steps you can take to reach your goals and how to measure success.
This White paper looks at how system complexity is increasing, though enterprises deploy more applications to more

Finally, IT budgets are growing, albeit slowly:

Cloud computing helps IT executives meet
these conflicting objectives. These solutions are

than legacy systems.
To be successful,
CIOs need to overcome their traditional

IT admins tasked with restoring servers or lost data during a disruption are
consumed with a single-minded purpose: successful recovery. But it shouldn’t
take an adverse event to underscore the importance of recovery as part of an
overall backup strategy. This is especially true with large datasets. Before you
consider how you’re going to back up large datasets, first consider how you
may need to recover the data.
Variables abound. Is it critical or non-critical data? A simple file deletion or a
system-wide outage? A physical server running onsite or a virtual one hosted
offsite? These and a handful of other criteria will determine your backup and
disaster recovery (BDR) deployment.
What do we mean by large? A simple question with a not-so-simple answer.
If your total data footprint is 5 TB or more, that’s considered large. But what
kind of data is it? How many actual files are there? How frequently do they
change? How much can they be compressed? It’s likely that two different 5 TB
Are you building a business case for replacing disk systems with all-flash? Read this paper to find out what enterprise users are saying about their own experiences with all-flash storage. Findings are based on over a dozen different product reviews.
Digital transformation is disrupting traditional, tried-and-true business process and leaving many enterprises scrambling for alternatives. Although the customer remains king for business success, data is quickly becoming an organization’s most strategic asset for reaching, interacting with and retaining customers.
With ransomware attacks on the rise, a strict regulatory environment, and nimble, competitive upstarts entering the market, protecting and extracting value from your most strategic asset is a business imperative — and a formidable challenge.
With Mac labs being a major presence on university campuses, many IT admins rely on imaging to ensure computers do not fall prey to viruses and costly data breaches, and to provide students with the education resources they need to be successful. The problem is imaging machines is a tedious and manual process, requiring lots of IT time.
In this white paper, we examine a better way to manage a Mac lab and explain how to:
• Leverage Apple’s Device Enrollment Program (DEP) to automatically configure and enroll Mac devices into management
• Make apps and resources readily available for students to use, regardless which computer they choose
• Ensure students only have access to the resources relevant to them by binding machines to your school’s directory services system

HP scientists had a bright idea. If they could modify materials to absorb infrared light – the light we can’t see – they could successfully fuse color to that material. It’s a story of how HP “cracked the code” in 3D color printing by drawing upon deep experience in the science of ink. Read this innovation story to why HP Jet Fusion 300/500 3D printers make it possible to produce engineering-grade functional parts faster and more affordably.

A majority of businesses have adopted digital platforms across multiple channels and in many cases successfully utilised them to drive efficiency and profitability. Technology, and the data that often underpins it, has become an extremely valuable asset for businesses of all sizes.
The way that companies do business has also changed and technology has played a key role in this, customers now expect instant gratification and a service model that suits their specific needs.
This paper will analyse the cause and effect of companies implementing digital transformation strategies and understand the role of cloud technologies within this. It will also explore some of the wider aspects of business transformation and the journey’s businesses take to implement innovative technologies.
Some organizations have carefully crafted strategies for cloud technology adoption; but for most, their journey to the cloud has been an ad hoc affair. Many have deployed applications in a number of different clouds: public clouds, private clouds, and even combinations of the two. While public and private clouds demonstrate how effective they can be in enabling companies to deploy applications quickly, hybrid cloud strategies prove the value of hosting applications in both cloud and on-premises environments. Similarly, SaaS offerings transform the way businesses interact with customers, partners, and vendors.
