Low Carbon IT Solutions: HP’s Eco Solutions Program
The Carbon IT Solutions white paper outlines existing Hewlett-Packard innovations and solutions that can contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) in different parts of the economy. HP has developed several 'green' solutions for businesses and consumers such as portable displays to reduce paper use, low-cost sensors that can monitor agricultural conditions and a sophisticated ‘face to face’ video conferencing system that reduces the need for overseas and interstate travel. Along with information on various low carbon innovations that HP is currently developing, this white paper also details HP’s existing Eco Solutions Program and its work with the WWF (World Wildlife Fund).
